The Valenti International Foundation is dedicated to helping the most needy and most vulnerable of our society, our children and elderly, who often fall through society’s gaps in assistance. The Valenti Foundation’s goal is to fill those gaps. The Valenti Foundation is a 501(c) 3, non-profit foundation, currently run by an all-volunteer staff.
Irene Valenti, founder and CEO of Valenti International, created the Valenti International Foundation in 2005 as a means of giving back to a community and a country that has blessed her with the “American Dream”. After great success in her business, Ms. Valenti has decided to give back to the Southern California community where she makes her home. Irene Valenti views families as being an integral pillar of a strong civil society, in which children are the center and the elderly create invaluable legacy. Therefore it is essential to maintain a thriving family unit, and to give assistance when any family and its children or elderly are in jeopardy. Happy, healthy children grow to be high-achieving adults who make significant contributions to our society and the future. Furthermore, our elderly give us a foundation from which to build and a sense of past. This is why at the Valenti Foundation we have made it our mission to give aid where we can to help the most needy and vulnerable.
The project goals of the Valenti International Foundation will be determined on a case-by-case basis as Irene Valenti and the Board see a need. The specific projects will change from time to time, while always remaining true to our mission statement of helping societies most vulnerable, our children and elderly. Projects of interest to The Valenti International Foundation would include aid for homeless, abused and neglected children/youth and elderly, improvements to living standards for poverty-stricken and underprivileged families, outreach to at-risk youth and expansion of educational opportunities.
The Goal for 2007-2008 is to raise one million dollars on behalf of Father Joe’s Children’s Village. These funds will be raised through a gala benefit and a capital campaign. We accept donations on a continuous basis.
The Valenti International Foundation Board is made up of successful and educated business people, highly acknowledged in their fields. We are always looking for opportunities to share our business expertise in mentoring and leadership development. |
